Do You See What I See?<br />
Well, If This Isn't A Confirmation Or What!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
A few years ago as I started my search for information</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
on my Paternal Grandfather,</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Edward J. Wagner,</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
and after a very late night searching</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Ancestry.com Family Trees</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I made a connection with his daughter Carol,<br />
my Father's Half-Sister.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Pictures were exchanged and there really wasn't<br />
any doubt that my Paternal Grandfather<br />
was also her Father!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Carol sent me the picture below of her Grandparents,</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Mr. & Mrs. Joseph S. Wagner.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
This is the only photo she has of my</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Paternal Great Grandparents.</div>

<div style="text-align: center;">
This week while going through old pictures that</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
my Father gave my sister before he passed away</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I found this picture of him with his Mother,</div>

Goodbye 2012 ~ Hello 2013!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Well, this year just flew! I wasn't able to spend as much time</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
on my genealogy research as I'd had liked. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
My term for the South Bay Cities Genealogical Society</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
as the Newsletter Editor has come to an end.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
As much as I loved working on it ~</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
it was very time consuming.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I'm now the Publicity Chairperson</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
and I believe I will be able to accomplish a lot more</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
this year personally!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
2012 was a great year as I was able to connect with</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
new cousins ~ Lotte Pedersen & Melanie Weller!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Lotte is related through my Grandmother</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Alma Pedersen (Petersen) -Schuessler-Spear's Father's side</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
& Melanie is through my Father's Step-Father's (raised by) side.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Now, I can officially start working on adding all these</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
new additions to my Family Tree!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Here's to Familia!</div>

Edward Siwinski Passed Away 87 Years Ago Today</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
And Was Only Seven Years Old</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Edward Siwinski</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Born: 18 December 1917</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Cook County, Chicago, Illinois</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Death: 15 September 1925</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Cook County, Chicago, Illinois</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Parents: Joseph & Martha Siwinski</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
While Frances & Adeline were walking to school,</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
they were unaware that their brother, Edward, snuck out</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
and followed them, he was hit by a truck.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Frances and Adeline didn't talk about it much,</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
as it was very painful. After Edward passed away,</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Martha & Joseph had another son, Joseph "Jack", </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
so he then became the baby of the family.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
{As told to me by my Cousin, Betsy Grocke - Britt}</div>

If my Grandfather Edward J. Wagner were alive today . . .</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
He would have turned 102 Years Old!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
His name was Edward Joseph Wagner, born on 30 June 1910</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
In Chicago, Illinois.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
He passes away on 09 February 1976, in Santa Barbara, California.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
He married my Grandmother Frances Elinore Siwinski.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Marriage date unknown, assuming between 1930 & 1934</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
in Cook County, Chicago, Illinois.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Father's name is Joseph, born in Germany</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
& Mother's name is Helen Radlow, born in Illinois.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
(Info. from Death Certificate).</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
He was also married to Margaret Aileen Sullivan</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
in Davenport, Scott, Iowa in August 1940 and</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
was married to Stella Hall-Wagner at the time of his death.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
This is pretty much all I know of him.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
How sad is it that he lived only 3 hours from his grandchildren,</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
five of us, and we never met him!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I'm hoping that maybe - someone will read this and see a</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
connection and I can get answers for my family tree.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Or possibly, find some cousins!<br />
